Marc Hanover │ Co-Founder and Partner

Marc Hanover is Co-Founder and Partner at Union Main Group, a Memphis-based owner and operator of businesses focused on essential home services, health care, and water and energy efficiency. He serves on the boards of AnovoRx, Redwood Services, and Echelon.

Marc began his career at National Bank of Commerce, where he spent twelve years rising from a management trainee to Senior Vice President and a member of the Executive Management Committee. He then embarked on an entrepreneurial career, founding Crossroads Mortgage Company, which was acquired by AIG; Surgical Navigation Technologies, a pioneer in image-guided spine surgery acquired by Sofamor Danek (now part of Medtronic); and GTx Inc., a biopharmaceutical company where he served as Chief Executive Officer and a member of the Board of Directors prior to its merger with Oncternal Therapeutics.

In 2012, Marc partnered with his son, Adam, to build and scale Shapiro Settlement Solutions—now Archer Systems— growing it into the nation’s leading provider of claims administration and lien resolution services, and AnovoRx, a leading specialty pharmacy serving patients with rare diseases.

A lifelong Memphian, Marc is committed to helping make Memphis a thriving hub for talent, business, and civic leadership through Union Main Group and the Hanover Family Foundation. Together with his wife, Jan, and their family, he supports initiatives that advance education, health care, economic opportunity, Jewish life, and the arts across Memphis.

Marc holds a B.S. in Biology and an MBA in Finance from the University of Memphis.
