Adam Hanover is Co-Founder and CEO of Union Main Group, a Memphis-based owner and operator that builds and invests in essential services businesses. He is Chairman of Redwood Services, a leading residential services platform, and Chairman and CEO of Echelon, a multifamily property solutions platform. Together, Union Main’s portfolio companies employ more than 4,000 people across the United States.

Adam partners with exceptional founders and management teams to build enduring, best-in-class businesses. Through Union Main’s long-term ownership model, the firm combines permanent capital with hands-on operational support, enabling companies to invest for the future while aligning management, employees, and investors around long-term value creation.

Earlier in his career, Adam worked in investment banking at Lazard Frères & Co. before spending five years at The Carlyle Group, where he supported Co-Founder and Co-Executive Chairman Bill Conway, Board Member Edward Mathias, and Co-CIO Kewsong Lee. He later founded Archer Systems, growing it into the nation’s largest third-party administrator for mass tort and class action claims before its successful sale.

A fourth-generation Memphian, Adam and his wife, Isabel, are committed to helping make Memphis a thriving hub for talent, business, and civic leadership through Union Main Group and the Hanover Family Foundation.

Adam serves on the boards of the College of Arts & Sciences at the University of Pennsylvania, Hillel at the University of Pennsylvania, the Memphis Art Museum, and St. Albans School of Public Service. He is also a trustee and advisor to the Bedford Falls Foundation, an advisor to With Honor, and a member of the National Council of the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
